Of MARA and Universiti Malaya

You see...
For students from east Malaysia..

• Who are offered to PASUM or other IPTA, and they should go to K.L by 25th of May
  
• And at the same time have been interviewed by MARA.

And MARA mentioned that result will be out on the 3rd week of May.
So, IF MARA assume that this week is the second week, considering 1st May fall on Friday.

Thus the earliest date for the interview results to be announced will be on the 11th of May and the latest should be on the 16th of May.

The problem is...IF AND ONLY IF..

• You're parents and your family want to visit you during the upcoming 2 weeks long school holiday and celebrate Gawai in K.L.Who knows right..
• Other flight rearrangements, cancellation, etc that is to be made;

WILL have to be planned, rearranges or scheduled after the MARA results were announced.

IT CAN'T be that simple because:

• Flight delays, rearrangement MUST be made 2 weeks before departure date, plus RM65 for any changes in flight seat (departure date)
• The cost,....yes the big headache is a hole in your wallet. Its capitalism 101, more demand, low supply, high prices. The later you book, the higher the flight prices.
• Nobody know, if they were selected by MARA, when will they have to register, is it the same date as IPTA registration? Anybody?
  

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Nay....this week is the first week.

Suggestion?

• Just don't book your ticket first. Wait and wait...
• Oh, MARA,will you announce the results earlier, although JPA faces some problem announcing their results, it was a relief for many knowing the results earlier.
